FOUNDERS SUMMER PICNIC REGISTRATION!
The Founders Summer Picnic will be held at the park on July 19th from 11-3pm. We will have games, inflatables, police dog
demonstration, fire engines, live band, balloon animals, prizes, a raffle, and of course, food! YOU MUST REGISTER BY MONDAY,
JULY 14th! The Ridge House has forms you can fill out, you can call us and we will be happy to fill it out for you, or you can
register online! Guests are $5 per person. If you Register by July 14th there is no charge. After July 14th, there will be a

RACCOONS!
Problems With Raccoons. Here are a couple of Pointers.
1. Call the Department of Wildlife 2. A pest control company can be called and they will set traps. 3. You can set out own traps to relocate the raccoon, but if you do this you need to call the wildlife department before
you relocate it and tell them where you are taking it. It has to be within 45 miles of where you catch it. 4. Keep doggy doors closed up at night 5. Raccoons are nocturnal 6. Putting a rag or cloth soaked in ammonia where the raccoon may come and go will keep it away 7. Make sure no human or animal food is left outside. 8. Keep your BBQ grill clean 9. NEW YOGA CLASS AT THE RIDGE HOUSE!
We have a new Yoga class at the Ridge House starting Tuesday 6/10! The class is every Tuesday night from 6:30-7:30 pm. The
cost is $5 per class. We ask that you pre-register and pay for the month in advance. We need a minimum of 4 participants for

TUMBLE BOOGIE IS AT THE RIDGE HOUSE!
Registration for Tumble Boogie starts today for ages 2 to 7! They will be at the Ridge House every Wed afternoon June 4th until
August 7 from 12:30-1:00pm immediately after Kids Club. The fee is $10 per child. You must pre-register by the Monday prior for
each session. You can register for a month at a time if you wish. Register early as classes will fill up fast. There is a maximum
of 10 kids per session. They will be here for KNO on June 27th if you would like to learn more about them! Call the Ridge House at

NEW SUMMER DAY CAMP!
We have a new program this summer for kids ages 5-12. The first week of camp begins June 2nd and runs through August 15th.
There will be a field trip 3 days per week. You can register for one week or all 6! You can register online at YMCA.
The cost is $140 per week. You will need to pay a $25 deposit. Payments in full are do by 2 weeks prior to the week registered.

SWIM LESSONS!
Registration began May 1, 2008. Lessons will be offered mornings, evenings and Saturdays. The complete schedule is available
on the YMCA website or we have a copy at the Ridge House. New for this year will be a swim team for ages 6 to 18! There will
be minimum requirements to join the team. Meet dates and more details will be available May 1. To register for any of the classes,
please click on the YMCA link on the home page. Ages 6-14 lessons are listed under Youth Swim Lessons and Preschool age lessons and

Water Wiser Program
For the sixth consecutive year, a program teaching water conservation practices to Castle Rock homeowners will exempt
graduates of a three-hour workshop from the mandatory watering schedule the Town has enforced since 1985. More than 400
participants are currently monitored as part of this program. Workshop attendees learn about Castle Rock's water supply,
the Town's water system, efficient irrigation methods and fundamentals of water conservation, including landscaping practices.
Residents completing the workshop will earn a Water Wiser designation, allowing them to water on any day. Their water usage
will be monitored by the Town to determine the effect of best water-conservation practices.
Education Opportunities offered by the Town in the past were Landscape Design Class, Efficient Irrigation Class,
Fabulous Xeric Design and Castle Rock Plant, starting up your watering system in the Spring, and shutting down the watering
system in the fall.

NEW ACC DROP BOX!
We have a new Architectural Drop Box at the Ridge House to the right of the front door for those who have Architectural
Submittal forms to leave for the Architectural Committee when the Ridge House is closed. For those who are painting their
homes, new paint palate books are available for you to review at the Ridge House. Approval for your painting and remodeling
projects comes from the Architectural Committee, not from your neighbors. Please access the Architectural Submittal Form
under the Forms section.

KNO Now 4 hours!
Kids Night Out will now be 4 hrs long from 5:30-9:30 pm. The price is $15 and we will provide an extra craft
